Colorful Chicks, Colorful Life!

"The color of our life depends how we allow ourselves to be enjoyed by the Master of Life."

These chicks were truly colorful! One day, I saw one of my cousin (elementary student) running towards house with an innocent smile painted in his face. As he arrived, he's directly went to me and said,"Kuya I had colorful chicks, I will take good care of them!".

These chicks were sold at near their school. These were chicken chicks sprayed with colored liquid paints that truly attractive to eyes, especially to the children! And starting that day my other elementary student cousins kept buying these colorful chicks.

These colorful chicks reminds me that if I just allow myself to be enjoyed by my God, I believed and I'm assured that my life will also be much colorful than relying in my own capacity.

Together is Best!

A realization of Johnny Agsaoay last July 10, 2008(YFC Bukidnon Provincial Music Ministry Drummer, and a fruitful leader).

"It's better when you are serving the Lord, but it's best when you are serving the Lord with your family."-Johnny Zaballero Agsaoay

Mahayag Beach Strolling

Mahayag beach is one of the clean, simple and comforting beach I've visited. It is located at Mahayag, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. The sea water in this area is refreshing and clear. It is only about 15 minutes travel from Tandag City proper. Paved roads makes it easier to travel except for the estimated 200 meters rough road going inside the area. Anyone can stay in at Mahayag beach resort owned by Ambray Family.Air-conditioned and regular rooms are available. There is also a function hall and a video karaoke in the area!

Stand out through Him!

"Our part is to keep growing and it's up to God how He will make us to stand out."

No one dreamed to be useless and worthless....somehow in our lives we want to stand out on something, do something unique, and do something that could be appreciated or could catch attention of others...even just once! We want to verify if we exist, that our lives are valuable... In my point of view..there is no wrong on it! Because even Jesus Christ let Himself be crucified in the cross to let us know that we are worth saving for. He died because of His unfathomable love for us and reminds us that we are not useless nor worthless.

As we continue living in this world, may we keeps on growing through His teaching and through His works in our experiences....and may we don't forget to have a room for God to work in our lives...for it is only by Him through His love and grace that we could stand out radiantly....and be more effective living testimony of His love and mercy!

Cagwait Beach (Unang Gi-ud)

My first step at Cagwait, Surigao del Sur was courtesy of YFC Surigao del Sur...thanks to them I was here!

Cagwait is one of the municipality of Surigao del Sur, located about 32km Southeast of Tandag City (Capital of Surigao del Sur). It is bounded by the towns of Bayabas on the North, Marihatag on the South, the Diwata mountains on the West and the Pacific Ocean in the East. Its concession is a sanctuary of the Philippine Eagle as validated by Charles Lindbergh during his wildlife campaign visit that made him also discovered the beautiful white-sand beach cove of Cagwait which he called similar to that of Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.(info courtesy of wikipedia)

Though my first time here was limited, I never missed taking some photos of God's greatness in Cagwait! Witnessing the Cagwait sunrise and it's white beaches motivates me to be here again soon... and in that time I'll be posting more details about the place...

Life's Cycle

"Life is a constant process of change."

One thing I'm sure that is constant in this world..it is CHANGE! Whether we like it or not, stop and close our senses, change will always happen. So may all of us will open ourselves to this change and may all of us will change for good, for better, for best and not for worst!

Kalaw on guard!

While I and my co workers was travelling going to Tandag, Surigao del Sur, we decided to have a stopover at one of the highway carenderia by the sea of Sto. Nino, San Agustin, Surigao del Sur to buy some snacks and drinks. And surprisingly, our attention was caught by a bird on guard in front of the house near the store...it was a KALAW (local name). And it might be going to read some records in the notebook.hehehhehe!

KALAW (local name) also known as Philippine Hornbill is one of the large species of hornbill. It is also called as Rufous Hornbill (Buceros hydrocorax).

The Kalaw trying to eat the caught fresh fish brought by a kid.

It was almost 20 years since my last sight of this Kalaw...the bird which is also called as "the clock of the mountain". So before leaving the place I took the opportunity to have a photos with this amazing creature of God.

Me and Kalaw!

Kiss of the Bee!

Most of us literally are afraid on bees, since we can't deny the pain that it brings in times we were bitten. Bees truly stings. Observing these bees, I wondered if does these flowers experienced pain as bees kissed them!? I really don't have sure answer on it, yet one thing I'm sure of, whether it hurts or not in the part of the flowers, bees helps them spread their beauty by taking away their pollen and transferring it to other flowering plants.

As living individuals we also experienced different kinds of pain, hurt and fear. Many of us think that every negative scenario or experiences we will be having will only lead us to misery and bring us to nowhere. Many of us tried to run away from these situations and feelings, but nobody could runaway from these forever... All of us will experience it!

Acceptance and facing it is much better ways than denying and running away. We should be motivating ourselves that every bad things that will happen carries a hidden goodness for us to be discover. Pains, hurts and fears in positive approach makes us more aware of who we are and helps us know what to do to let ourselves grow much stronger than before. Basing on my personal experiences unpleasant situations carries something good in it, all we need to do is to be aware that THERE IS ALWAYS BLESSING IN DISGUISE!

Be Whole though Imperfect!

"There is always someone who could fill every void of imperfection."

Truly we are all imperfect...yet may our imperfection must not be used as a reason to keep doing things which are not righteous. May our imperfection may not be the reason for us to stop dreaming or moving forward for a greater and humane cause. May our imperfection will remind us that we couldn't be alone. We need someone to help us as we journey in this life. Our imperfection is an essential asset and factor of taking away our pride, if we just allow and accept it in ourselves. And may our imperfection will remind us that we lack something and in our daily lives we need God to complete us!

With Him, in Him, through him we are made whole from imperfection!

Divine Mercy Shrine...a Holy Ground!

Psalms 86:5 For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call on you.

This month of April is the feast of the Divine Mercy celebrated at Devine Mercy Shrine,MO.

Divine Mercy Shrine holds the tallest Divine Mercy Statue not just in the Philippines but in the entire world. It stands 50 feet tall at one of the hills of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. Located at hill 500 feet above sea level, the Divine Mercy statue seems like loved watching the view of Macalajar bay!

The place is holy and everything in it reminds of the great love of God to His people. The unfailing and overflowing mercy He humbly offered to us despite of our sins and imperfections. I was here twice and I still long to be here always as many times as I could!

My first visit with M8 friends!

My second visit with Agricultural Engineers!
